Randy and Cathy have truly found their purpose, and the value they gave us is priceless! Just over a year ago, Julie and I met Randy and Cathy at a critical time in our relationship. Although we both wanted to commit fully, we created too many barriers to sustain our relationship. Counselors and books hadn't helped us figure out what was holding us back. Randy and Cathy’s mentorship methods were exactly what we both needed to rebuild our communication and understanding of each other. What I appreciated the most was their flexibility and their generosity. We never felt rushed in any session. Often, we talked about the parts of our lives that weren’t necessarily specific to our relationship but allowed us to become better individuals and partners. Sometimes we found more value in individual sessions followed by group discussions. Never once did the Boyds play judge and jury or help convince one of us that the other one was “right.” Accountability between sessions was a key to our growth, and Randy and Cathy helped us attack issues on a timeline that worked for us. Going into this we didn’t know what to expect and it’s definitely out of our comfort zone. But from the very beginning Randy & Cathy made us feel comfortable. S.Y.M.B.I.S. and the other tools they use are top notch, but the way Randy & Cathy are able to connect the dots is key. My wife and I would not be together today if wasn’t for Randy and Cathy Boyd. After a transgression against my wife, we reached out to Randy and Cathy. We took a communication workshop that helped my wife and I learn how to communicate with each other better. They both took the time with us, made us both feel comfortable and important. They listened when we talked and knowing they have walked through something similar and made it out stronger, gave us both hope. After all of our meetings I begin to see a change in myself and a change in my wife as well. Today we are happier than ever and my wife is my best friend.
