Thank you for visiting the Heal and Restore Counseling website. We trust that you are here for a purpose and we are here to guide you in that purpose. Heal and Restore Counseling takes a faith-filled approach to healing marriages, broken
relationships, and shattered souls. We strive to provide a safe and supportive environment to allow the healing process to take place. We walk with you on this journey of healing and guide you to find the peace you are seeking. We call this our “Heal Program”. This is the process we use to Heal and Restore your marriage and relationships.

The Heal Program
H – HOPE: It is our goal that after the first session, you will have hope that your
marriage/relationship can be restored. Hope is that part of faith that focuses on the future.

E – EXPECTATIONS: We help you understand what healthy expectations are in a
marriage/relationship. This does not mean that your relationships will be without conflict.
Conflict can be productive because, when handled in healthy ways, it leads to a greater
understanding.

A – ACCEPTANCE: We guide you to a place of acceptance, understanding that acceptance does
not mean approval. Getting to a place of acceptance allows the walls to come down and
growth to begin.

L – LISTENING: We teach you the importance of active listening, which leads to more efficient
communication. Active listening helps ensure that you hear the other person, and that the
person knows you are listening to what they say.

My wife and I would not be together today if wasn’t for Randy and Cathy Boyd. After a transgression against my wife, we reached out to Randy and Cathy. We took a communication workshop that helped my wife and I learn how to communicate with each other better. They both took the time with us, made us both feel comfortable and important. As a survivor of sexual abuse I can tell you the trauma and deep shame you experience makes it very hard to reach out for help. I was introduced to Randy through a mutual friend. After a 20 minute FaceTime conversation I felt safe, understood and hopeful.
